ASI is at the forefront of critical and cutting edge research at both the FAA and the United States Airforce.

For over 5 years ASI team of expert writer/editors have been providing support to the Aviation Research Division in support of its sponsoring agencies.

  • ASI staff perform quality control on submitted technical reports, oversees the overall production of the documents in the editing queue, and prepare the research documents for publication.
  • The finalized documents are posted to the FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center Library website.

At the 711th Human Performance Wing in Dayton Ohio, ASI staff provide In-Flight surgery training, research, including the development of computer based training modules accessible online.

  • Using applications such as Blackboard, ASI staff convert live training into computer based training applications used across the USAF.
