Who are we
ASI was founded in 2007 by Russell D. Henderson, beginning as a State and Local IT solutions company focused on helping organizations modernize systems and improve operational efficiency.
In 2014, ASI entered the federal marketplace, expanding its capabilities to support defense, health, and research missions across the government. The company’s growth accelerated in 2017 with the acquisition of 1st American Systems and Services, LLC—a milestone that significantly increased ASI’s technical capacity, past performance, and access to major federal programs. This acquisition served as a major catalyst in expanding ASI’s footprint and strengthening its reputation as a trusted federal partner.
Over the past decade, ASI has built a diverse portfolio spanning healthcare, research, data analytics, and technology modernization for agencies including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, Defense Health Agency, National Institutes of Health, U.S. Census Bureau, Securities & Exchange Commission, and the Federal Aviation Administration.
In September 2025, ASI proudly graduated from the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program—marking the completion of a transformative chapter in our company’s growth. Today, we remain a thriving small business dedicated to advancing our clients’ missions and to supporting and mentoring the next generation of 8(a) participants as they pursue their own paths to success.

Ingenuity JV

Focused on behavioral sciences, social services, and clinical support programs, Ingenuity combines W2’s subject matter expertise in behavioral health with ASI’s experience managing complex human services contracts across DoD, NIH, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Ingenuity JV is certified as an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Triad Healthcare Solutions
(Third Eye Business Solutions & ASI)
Focused on healthcare staffing and operations, clinical research, and medical program management, Triad leverages the extensive experience of Third Eye’s principals within the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and other military health organizations. Their firsthand knowledge of mission priorities, compliance requirements, and operational workflows enhances ASI’s ability to deliver mission-ready medical and administrative personnel with precision and responsiveness. Triad Healthcare Solutions is certified as an 8(a), HUBZone, and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
AIM JV
(Integrated Management Strategies & ASI)
–Specializing in medical coding and transcription, health data analytics, and program support services for federal civilian and Department of Defense customers, IMS enhances ASI’s capabilities in healthcare operations and information management. AIM JV is certified as an 8(a) and Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Together, these partnerships extend ASI’s reach into 8(a), WOSB, SDVOSB, and HUBZone markets—allowing agencies and teaming partners to leverage our proven performance through multiple small-business avenues, while benefiting from the strength and infrastructure of an experienced prime contractor.
