(ASI), a Maryland Based Information Technology Company, announces the acquisition of 1st American Systems and Services, LLC. The acquisition will result in the expansion of ASI’s service areas to include Program Management, Training & e-Learning in

a multitude of IT disciplines; Health Care IT; Engineering Services inclusive of Independent verification and validation (IV&V) and a host of Management and Administrative Services. ASI is pleased to now serve a host of federal clients in the Department of Defense and Civilian spaces.

The company also specializes in providing quality IT professionals to organizations at affordable rates. ASI’s current client list includes organizations including state and local governments and utilities such as the State of Maryland, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission, the US Air Force, US Securities and Exchange Commission, The US Navy and more. This acquisition strategically aligns the two firms’ capabilities to enhance their ability to offer quality solutions to prospective clients.

ABSS Solutions Inc Wins $93M Air Force Medical Research Support Contract

The General Services Administration has awarded ABSS Solutions, Inc. (ASI) a $92.9M contract to provide technical and professional support for research efforts under the U.S. Air Force’s Medical Wing.

ASI will assist the 59th Medical Wing in its translational and clinical research operations across the continental U.S. ASI will support the 59th MDW and the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) research and development efforts to include Emergency Medical Care, Clinical and Rehabilitative Medicine, Combat Casualty Care, Force Health Protection, as well as COVID-19. Services may also include conceptualization, regulatory clearance application, and market introduction support.

This contract adds to ASI’s history of supporting the U.S. Air Forces Medical Operations which have also included supporting the Family Advocacy Programs for OCONUS regions in Europe and Asia, as well as supporting the 711th Human Performance Wing, Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), and the U.S. Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM).
