CIO-SP3 SMALL BUSINESS

CIO-SP3 is a 10-year, 20 billion dollar ceiling, Govern- ment Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) that includes a broad array of IT

services, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC) and utilized by both defense and civil- ian federal agencies.

We are awarded the prime contract for both small busi- ness and 8(a) restricted categories and are eligible for:

About 8(a) STARS III

The General Services Administration (GSA) 8(a) Streamlined Technology Acquisition Resources for Services (STARS) III, a small business set-aside Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a pre-competed, easy-to-use contract with streamlined ordering procedures which provides flexible access to customized information technology solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. With a $50 Billion program, 8(a) STARS III allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements. 8(a) STARS III offers access to multiple types of task orders including fixed price, time and materials, labor hour, and blended task order types. 8(a) STARS III allows for directed (sole source) task orders of up to $4.5 Million, including options, for Federal Civilian and Department of Defense activities.

CONTRACT VEHICLES 8(a) Sole Source Contracts

In September 2015, US Small Business Administration granted an 8(a) Certification to ASI. ABSS 8(a) status will remain active for a ten-year period through September 2025. As a certified participant in the 8(a) Program, ASI can now receive sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing; as a result, the Government can more readily obtain our IT services.
