ASI Instructional Software Specialist (ISS) and Instructional System Design (ISD) personnel are proficient in current technologies used to develop cutting edge educational materials including Adobe Captivate, Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packages, gaming, 3D modeling, virtual reality and simulation. We work closely with our customer stakeholders to select instructional platforms, instructional media, development tools, and delivery methods to satisfy e-learning training requirements.
ASI Flight Medicine Physicians assisted the Chief of the Aerospace Medicine Education Division (FEE) to coordinate and conduct the activities of the courses of the Aerospace Medicine Education Branch (FEEE) serving as consultants and subject matter experts. ASI was able to offer in-classroom instructor led training, as well as eLearning applications developed in collaboration with the Instructional System Design personnel from our Curriculum Development practice.
ASI Subject Matter Experts develop advanced Individual Proficiency Analytical Tests and products by researching and interpreting complex federal occupational health laws and DoD occupational health guidelines, CFETPs, CDCs, and QTPs in the development of Proficiency Analytical Testing products for the Bioenvironmental Engineering Career Field. Additional service offerings include the provision of expertise in writing on specific topics & documents including study guides, instructor guides, objectives, tests questions, and Education and Training Course Announcements (ETCA) course descriptions.
ASI employed Instructional Software Specialist (ISS) and Instructional System Design (ISD) personnel who provided web development and design services, curriculum & course design, training materials, eLMS products, and managed the US Air Force Media Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. This group provided a full range of Collaborative Learning Environment (CLE) support services to approximately 4,000 students per year and 120 instructors across approximately 90 unique academic military courses to include Tier I-Help Desk or first-level support, Tier II-Advanced Application help desk support, and “hands-on” support. Our personnel utilized the Blackboard™ LMS for instruction taking place at the 711 HPW and its subordinate USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) and provide the following application services:
